Palm Beach Eats

(All of September; Boca Raton)

Throughout the Palm Beaches, from Jupiter to Boca Raton, restaurants are showing off their chefs and offering culinary delights at prices you wouldn?t believe. Enjoy a three course dinner for as low as $30, or lunch for less. Steakhouses and bistros, surf and turf, a burger and fries, it?s all making a comeback in your wallet this year in Palm Beach County.

Dunn's Run ? Walk and Run for the Kids

(October 4th, 2015; Boca Raton)

The city of Deerfield is hosting it?s 19th Annual Dunn?s Run that benefits the boys and girls clubs around Broward County. Put on your running shoes and run, or walk, a 5K track around Deerfield, closing off Federal Highway, Hillsboro Blvd, and A1A. Registration for the race begins August 12th. If you?re spectating, there will be food vendors, and activities for the kids.

Oktober Fest

(October 9th ? 11th, and 16th ? 18th, 2015; Boca Raton)

Come and discover the best of Germany this year in Lake Worth, a little north of the city of Boca. The best of traditional German food and music will be presented for all to enjoy at the American German Club of the Palm Beaches. Come down on the 2nd weekend of October, or the third if you can?t make it, or both, and celebrate Oktoberfest.

Miami Broward One Carnival

(October 11th, 2015; Miami Beach)

It?s time for a masquerade party, and this year, Miami is making its mark with over 50,000 participants at the Miami Broward One Carnival. Join the fun and celebrate the cultures of the Caribbean, listen to the music of more than twenty bands, and of course, enjoy some Caribbean food. The nightlife events are hosted by clubs and venues, not affiliated with the Carnival, but viewed as locations for after parties following the event.

Columbus Day Regatta

(October 12th, 2015; Miami Beach)

On Columbus Day, nearly 300 different crews sail around Biscayne Bay for a day of festivity and boat races. Thousands of spectators go every year to watch these sail boats participate in this annual nautical event. Following the race is a little dinner and dance party, featuring alcoholic beverages and a live band performance.

Home Design and Remodeling Show

(October 23rd ? 25th, 2015; Fort Lauderdale)

The Home Design and Remodeling Show is known nation wide as an event that helps families improve the quality of their home. The exhibition displays a diversity of products and innovations for home improvement. Over the years, this show has been recognized for its products and the quality of its exhibit.

Halloween Spooktacular

(October 31st, 2015; Fort Lauderdale)

This year, Halloween is being celebrated in the Weston Town Center of Fort Lauderdale. Great for families, a free costume contest is being hosted, and a live DJ will be performing. For the kids, there will be face painting, a bounce house, and trick-or-treating.

Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Come here in the beginning of November to see everything from sail boats to power boats to super yachts. This boat show has everything, an amazing collection all in one place.

Miami Short Film Festival

(November 5-12th, 2015; Miami Beach)

Founded in 2002, the Miami Short Film Festival has been going on for over 10 years, starring short films in a variety of genres. Each short film is about 20 minutes or less, and exhibits a growing movement in the art form of short films. The event attracts thousands of people each year to watch these captivating films and to honor the filmmakers behind them.

Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival

Looking to try something new? Delray is throwing a Wine and Seafood festival this year on Atlantic Avenue. Local seafood restaurants provide the best culinary dishes they can whip up, and pair it with a nice glass of wine. Admission to this event is completely free, and there are plenty of stores, boutiques, and galleries to keep you entertained throughout the festival.

Miami International Auto Show

(November 7-16th, 2015; Miami Beach)

Whether you?re looking for a new car, or just like some automotive eye candy, the Miami International Auto Show will satisfy your craving. Every year, the latest in auto technology is shown off from all of the big names in the auto industry. With over one million square feet, and more than 10 days dedicated to the event, this is the biggest auto show in all of the U.S. Come check out nearly one thousand vehicles, from high-end automobiles to motorcycles.

Dragon Boat Festival

(November 8th, 2015; Miami Beach)

Come to Haulover Beach for the race, but stay for the entertainment and cuisine. The United Chinese Association of Florida presents the Dragon Boat Festival every year in Miami, bringing you music performances, kung fu demonstrations, health and fitness exhibits, arts and crafts, and much more. Of course, as the name suggests, there will also be a Dragon Boat race, so come to Miami and cheer them on while celebrating a tradition that has lasted for over 2000 years.

6th Annual Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival

(November 13th ? 15th, 2015; Boca Raton)

This year at the Florida Atlantic University Campus in Boca Raton, the 6th Annual culinary fair will be setting up and serving up four-course meals with a little wine on the side. There will be an exclusive VIP under the stars, a Vineyard Party, and a Wine to Glass Affair, all starting at 7pm, and that?s all just on Friday Night. There will be a Grand Tasting and Culinary Affair on Saturday night, and a Craft Crew Battle Sunday afternoon.

Miami Book Fair International

Looking for the place to hear readings from the stars of prose and poetry? You?ll find them at the Miami Book Fair International this year in November. More than 350 authors will be attending this event, celebrating over 30 years of literary success. During this week-long event, you can hear readings from best-selling authors, attend parties and festivities, and experience the most-anticipated event for authors and readers alike.

53rd Annual Christmas on Las Olas

Fort Lauderdale is celebrating 53 years of Christmans on Las Olas with local choirs, entertainment, food, and spirits. Last year was such a blow out, they?re looking to outdo it this year with over 60 food, beverage, and holiday booths. Come join the celebration this year!

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

(Dates TBA; Fort Lauderdale)

Knowns as Florida?s most popular boat parade, Christmas is celebrating by decoriating over 100 boats with Christmas lights and other items of illumination. Then, the boats sail down the Intracoastal Waterway in one brightly colored parade. This isn?t just a parade though, it?s a contest. All boat owners who join have the chance to win an award for having the most fantastically ddecorated boat. If you would like to enter and want help in decorating your boat for the parade, there are professional decorators available.

Art Basel Miami Beach

(December 3-6th, 2015; Miami Beach)

This art fair in Miami Beach is one-of-a-kind, showcasing over 250 galleries, from international to contemporary artwork. Gallerists, artists, and collectors are attracted to this event every year, to the sands of South Beach to see some of the best the international art world has to offer. Miles go on, riddled with world-class art museums, classic Art Deco architecture, luxury art pieces, and more. In addition, if you know the right people to mingle with, you may find yourself attending one of many velvet rope night life events.

Holiday Boat Parade

(December 5th, 2015; Boca Raton)

The 21st Annual Palm Beach Holiday Boat Parade is sailing through North Palm Beach this year along the Intercoastal Waterway. Check out all the boats decked out in holiday d?cor and Christmas lights, and watch for the fireworks display. This event is orchestrated to benefit the Marine Corps Toys for Tots organization, and every year, thousands of toys are donated to underprivileged children around the holiday season.

Holiday at the Pier

(December 5th, 2015; Boca Raton)

Looking for a great way to spend the holiday season with the family? This December, Deerfield Beach is setting up the Christmas lights and setting up the tree at the International Fishing Pier. There will be music performances, activities for the kids, and a photo booth with Santa Claus! Plus, enjoy a bit of a snowstorm right on the beach.

Bayfront Park's New Year's Eve

(December 31st, 2015; Miami Beach)

Ring in the new year with the largest free New Year?s party in all of South Florida. Dance the night away and countdown to the New Year of 2016, complete with a beautiful fireworks display. A DJ will be set up to play music for the dance party, so you can bust a move all the way to midnight.
